GDPR rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have a clear set of rights over your personal data. This page summarizes them and explains how to exercise each one with Lynvo.

Who you contact

Houmofis d.o.o. is the controller of your personal data on Lynvo. Privacy questions and rights requests: privacy@lynvo.app. We respond within 30 days as required by Article 12(3) GDPR (extendable by two months for complex requests, with notice).

Right of access (Art. 15)

You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. The response includes: which categories of data we process, the purposes, recipients, retention periods, and the safeguards we apply when transferring data outside the EEA. Most of the data we hold is visible directly in the app (account, leagues, matches, votes); for the full export, email us.

Right to rectification (Art. 16)

If your name, email, or any other personal data is wrong, you can correct it from your account settings. For anything not editable in-app (e.g. invoice details), email us and we'll fix it.

Right to erasure / "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17)

You can ask us to delete your personal data. Deletion is performed within 30 days. We may retain data for longer when the law requires it — most commonly invoice records, which Slovenian accounting rules keep for 10 years. We'll explicitly tell you what (if anything) we're keeping and why.

Note: if you're a player on a league whose organizer keeps historical standings, your match results may continue to appear in those aggregates with your name redacted (e.g. as "Former member"). We can also fully redact your name on request.

Right to restriction (Art. 18)

You can ask us to pause processing of your data while a dispute (e.g. about accuracy) is resolved. We'll continue to store the data but won't use it for anything else during the restriction period.

Right to portability (Art. 20)

You can request a machine-readable export (JSON or CSV) of your account data and the matches you've participated in, with enough structure to import them into a different platform. Request via privacy@lynvo.app — we deliver the export within 30 days.

Right to object (Art. 21)

You can object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests (e.g. abuse prevention, product analytics). We'll stop unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing is needed for legal claims.

Right not to be subject to automated decisions (Art. 22)

Lynvo does not make legally significant decisions about you based solely on automated processing. AI-generated news articles summarize match data — they don't affect access, billing, or any other right. You can ask us to disable AI news for your tenant.

Right to withdraw consent

Where a specific processing activity is based on your consent (rare on Lynvo — consent is mostly used for optional marketing), you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Right to lodge a complaint

You can file a complaint with the Slovenian supervisory authority:

Informacijski pooblaščenec
Dunajska cesta 22
1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia
gp.ip@ip-rs.si · +386 1 230 97 30

You can also complain to the supervisory authority in your EU country of residence.

Verifying who you are

To prevent unauthorized data disclosure, we'll verify your identity before fulfilling a rights request — typically by asking you to send the request from the email address linked to your Lynvo account. We don't collect copies of ID documents unless absolutely necessary.
